i am supposed to be in bukidnon few hours ago but wasn’t able to hitch a ride by 5:30am. reasons? (1) the bus i rode stops every 500 meters to pickup a passenger. normally it would only take me 20 to 25 minutes from my hometown to davao city, this time it took me 40. (2) i stopped 5 kilometers away from my original destination because the bus was heading west and i’m going south so i took another ride, this time – a jeepney. slow driving plus the unusual rainshower took me 15 minutes to my spot. (3) i haven’t loaded my prepaid phone so i wasn’t able to make a call telling them to wait for me. unfortunately, no one in the team bothered to phone me in as well. then i arrived like 10 minutes after they left. so that made my tuesday awesomely great.
the poor me took a ride back to office and for the very first time in 2008 – i clocked in at 6:30am. whoa!
so to jumpstart my day with a good mood, i checked some downloaded videos and checked out something odd and old – the mid 60’s sound of music. it was so dumb of me – i thought the movie wasn’t musical. then julie andrews started singing, and then the nuns were singing, then the trapp kids, and then captain and so were everyone else in the movie. so that’s why it took roughly about 2 hours and 50 minutes with all the drama and the singing. plus there were some pauses tagged as “intermission“. imagine, there were like those in the old movies? so you’d get a chance to puff a cigarette or grab a snack or piss maybe. hilarious but true. julie andrews (a.k.a. fraulien maria in this film) is probably the only short-haired blonde i liked a lot. she’s charming, witty, and so adorable, isn’t she?
Hahahahaha!!! Try downloading “West Side Story”… It is one the funniest movies out there without meaning to be…
